78-Year-Old Pedestrian Seriously Injured in St. Petersburg Parking Lot Accident
ST. PETERSBURG — Pedestrian seriously injured in fast food parking lot. A 78-year-old woman was leaving the Arby’s restaurant at 3900 Fourth Street in Saint Petersburg on Friday evening when she was hit by a 2003 Dodge conversion van while walking to her car, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The accident took place at about 6:50 p.m. The van was making a left turn when it struck the woman, knocking her to the ground where she hit her head on the pavement. She was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The van’s driver said she did not see the woman and no charges were filed in the accident.
