Unidentified Man Killed Crossing US 41 in Sarasota

An unidentified pedestrian died on Sunday evening when he was hit by a pickup truck on US 41 south of Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota .

Sarasota police are asking the public for help in identifying the man, who appears to be have been around 50 years old, with salt-and-pepper hair.

Police say they do not expect to file charges against the truck driver.
